You'll work closely with clients, managers and directors, contributing technical expertise while helping to deliver practical business and taxation solutions. This position offers the opportunity to step into a leadership role and influence both client outcomes and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist advice on taxation, business structures and compliance matters
- Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns and management reports
- Assist clients with tax planning, forecasting, budgeting and business improvement initiatives
- Support complex projects including restructures, audit matters and strategic advisory engagements
- Review work completed by junior team members and provide constructive feedback
- Act as a technical resource for accounting and tax-related queries across the business
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
- Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring clients and colleagues remain informed
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 7 years' experience within Australian public practice
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
- Proven ability to review work, manage workflow and maintain quality standards
- Experience coaching and developing staff
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
