Diversity and Inclusion

Neurodiversity

We support all types of ways to think, learn, interact and perceive the world. We believe a diverse workforce provides opportunities for everyone to succeed.

Neurodiversity in the workplace

Neurodiversity means natural variations of brain function and behavioural traits. It is a term often used in conjunction with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurological differences such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Dyslexia.

Neurodiversity avoids looking at neurological differences as disabilities. Someone who is neurodiverse does not have incapacities, but simply functions in alternate ways to people who identify as neurotypical.

How we support Neurodiversity

With leadership and support from our parent company RGF Staffing APEJ, we at Chandler Macleod are committed to providing opportunities for life and prioritising social value.

To demonstrate our support of neurodiverse communities, Chandler Macleod have integrated the ReciteMe toolbar into our website to make applying for our jobs more accessible to people who are neurodiverse, visually impaired or speak English as a second language.

Peoplebank and Aurion, our sister companies in RGF Staffing APEJ are also passionate about supporting neurodiversity in the workplace. They have both partnered with Specialisterne so that they can help employ capable, intelligent people who happen to be neurodiverse.

Leaders IT, a professional services brand within Peoplebank, is working closely with a number of neurodiversity specialists to develop a program supporting neurodiverse people to find employment opportunities in IT.

We look forward to continuing to place great neurodiverse people in the right role for them and for our clients.
