As a Mill Loader, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth feed and raw material operations, helping to sustain the production of Australia's favorite poultry products enjoyed by millions of families.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Operate and monitor feed mill machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Load trucks via the control room for timely dispatch.
- Use forklifts to handle bulk feed and raw materials safely.
- Work hands-on with forklifts and perform manual handling tasks.
- Conduct regular safety and quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with logistics and production teams to meet operational targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes.
- Uphold workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production or feed mill environment preferred.
- Current Forklift Licence and demonstrated forklift operation experience.
- Basic computer skills for monitoring systems and recording data.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physically fit with good stamina to handle manual tasks.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Prior experience in similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
