An established construction business specialising in formwork solutions is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the company's end-to-end finance function.
This is a standalone role within a growing business that delivers major projects for some of Australia's leading construction companies. The successful candidate will take ownership of all finance activities while partnering closely with business leadership to support continued growth and operational performance. This role is suited to a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You will need to be adaptable, resilient, commercially focused and comfortable operating across both strategic and transactional finance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the finance function
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insights
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll oversight
- Drive financial controls, compliance and reporting processes
- Support business decision-making through financial analysis
- Work closely with operational leaders across the business
- Ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are met
- Previous Finance Manager experience
- Experience within construction, civil, infrastructure, building products or a related project-based environment
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability
- Ability to operate in a standalone finance role
- Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
