About the Opportunities
Chandler Macleod is seeking expressions of interest from reliable labourers and plant operators for upcoming opportunities across civil construction, council maintenance, parks and gardens, and land management.
If you have experience in civil works, landscaping, grounds maintenance, agriculture or farm work, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re interested in candidates with experience in:
- Civil construction, roadworks and general labouring
- Roller operation and other civil plant or machinery
- Parks and gardens, landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Mowing, brush cutting and vegetation management
- Bush regeneration and weed control
- Agricultural or farm work, including tractor operation and property maintenance
- Assisting with civil works, drainage, concreting and road maintenance
- Operating rollers, tractors, mowers or other machinery where appropriately qualified
- Mowing, edging, brush cutting, planting and mulching
- Maintaining parks, reserves, roadsides and public spaces
- Assisting with weed control and bush regeneration
- Using hand tools, power tools and small plant
- Completing manual handling, site preparation and clean-up tasks
- Following safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to work sites
- Availability for early starts and weekday work
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role
- A strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
- Relevant experience in one or more of the areas listed above
Requirements will vary depending on the assignment. Please include any relevant licences, tickets or qualifications in your application, such as:
- White Card – required for construction-based roles
- Roller or other plant operating tickets, Statements of Attainment or VOCs
- Driver’s licence, including MR or HR
- Traffic control tickets
- Access to a variety of upcoming roles across the region
- Opportunities to put your existing skills to work and gain further experience
- Potential for ongoing assignments, depending on client requirements
