About the role
As a Dry Goods Leading Hand, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operation of the Dry Goods area and leading the team to meet production and operational requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the Dry Goods team to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Allocating tasks and providing guidance to team members
- Ensuring stock is available, rotated correctly, and stored in the correct locations
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control activities
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
- Following company policies, procedures, and WHS requirements
- Communicating effectively with Supervisors and other departments
- Assisting with training, coaching, and supporting team members
About you
You’re a proactive and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. You’ll bring:
- Experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Good computer skills and confidence using systems for stock/admin tasks
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead others
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and following workplace procedures
