We are seeking an experienced cleaner to support the cleaning and upkeep of public amenities and facilities across recreational areas within the Ballina Shire. This is a field-based role, starting ASAP.
This full-time role offers Monday to Friday, 4:00am to 11:30am hours.
Duties
- Clean and maintain public amenities and facilities to required hygiene and presentation standards.
- Follow WHS and risk management requirements at all times.
- Safely use and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently while working independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a professional, courteous approach when interacting with the public and site stakeholders.
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in commercial cleaning and/or cleaning public amenities.
- Strong understanding of hygiene cleaning processes and safe handling procedures (including sharps and cleaning products).
- Proven ability to communicate professionally and work well with others.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Current Hepatitis A & B immunisation, or willingness to participate in an immunisation program.
- Class C driver licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
Benefits
- $35.28/hr + super, plus applicable penalty rates and shift allowance.
