We are seeking a Zero Turn Mower Operator for an immediate start to support grounds and open space maintenance works based out of a Ballina depot. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone with proven zero-turn mowing experience in a work environment.
This offers 6:30am–3:40pm hours on a 9-day fortnight roster.
Duties
- Operate a zero-turn mower safely and efficiently across parks, reserves and public areas.
- Perform general grounds maintenance as required (mowing, edging, basic labouring support).
- Complete daily pre-start checks and basic equipment care.
- Follow WHS procedures and maintain a high standard of safety on site and in public areas.
- Support the wider team with day-to-day maintenance tasks as required.
Essential:
- Demonstrated zero-turn mowing experience in a work environment.
- Current Class C driver licence.
- MR Licence
- Horticulture trade qualification.
- Chemical qualifications.
- Traffic Controller ticket.
- Implement Traffic Control Plans ticket.
