$45/hr + Super | 38 Hours Per Week | Long-Term Temporary Opportunity

We're seeking a Stores & Inventory Controller to join a busy industrial operation in a long-term temporary position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SAP experience, a current forklift licence, and a passion for inventory accuracy, process improvement, and maintaining high operational standards.

This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to play a key role supporting maintenance, production, and site operations.

About the Role As the Stores & Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day stores operations while ensuring accurate inventory management, SAP processing, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and issue engineering spares, consumables, and chemicals through SAP
  • Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and stock movements
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and work orders
  • Pick and allocate materials for maintenance and production requirements
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Complete weekly and month-end inventory and chemical reporting
  • Maintain accurate stock records and master data
  • Support equipment refurbishment processes through SAP
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, contractor, and stores procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and stores efficiency
  • Liaise with production, maintenance, suppliers, and finance teams
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements
  • Previous stores, warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience
  • Demonstrated SAP experience
  • Strong administration and reporting skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Highly Regarded
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, mining, chemical, or production environments
  • Experience handling engineering spares and maintenance stores
  • Inventory control and stock investigation experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF)
