Base Rate to Candidate:( up to ) $61.94 per hour plus penalties
Chandler Macleod are currently seeking an experienced Officer – Small Tools & Equipment to support the Canning Vale depot under the direction of the Small Tools & Equipment (ST&E) Team leader. This position supports our regional partners in standardising the purchasing of small tools & equipment across the state, as well as rolling out and utilising the Lucidity asset register software. The role ensures the data quality of our ST&E asset register records, promotes best practice across the state, and acts as a liaison for regions to delivery exceptional outcomes in the ST&E space.
What the role will involve:
- Support the standardisation of Small Tools & Equipment across the state.
- Maintain and update the asset records in the ST&E asset register to ensure compliance requirements, this will include the labelling of tools.
- Act as liaison and main point of contact for regional business partners representing ST&E.
- Maintain, repair, and purchase tools and equipment within the parameters of the Water Corporation Perth Region Field Services (PRFS) requirements.
- Perform test and tagging of tools and equipment items as required by the OHS Act & Regulations.
- Various other tasks as required to support the PRFS depots.
- Ensure all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety
- Ability to occasionally work Saturday as required
Key skills and experience:
- MR or HR Drivers Licence (Desirable, minimum C class licence)
- High Risk License Forklift ticket.
- Relevant experience in store operational processes.
- Experience with a wide variety of power tools & equipment.
- Relevant experience in reviewing WHS documentation and procedures for Contractors.
