Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess live bird handling practices
- Identify and report any non-conformance issues in handling, hygiene, or processing
- Perform routine documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of QC checks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience in quality control, food production, or poultry processing preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork ability
- Willingness to work around live animals and in slaughter environments
- Flexible availability for shifts - 4am start
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a production plant environment, including standing for extended periods
- Willingness to follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work early morning hours
- Prior experience with environmental testing or pre-operational inspections is advantageous
