DIDO | 7/7 Roster | Approx. 3-Month Project
We are currently seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Plant Operators to join our crews for an upcoming civil construction project in the mining industry.
The project involves the removal of existing culverts and installation of new culverts across mining haul roads. This is a great opportunity for experienced operators to secure project-based work, with the potential for further similar projects following completion.
What's on Offer?
- Competitive hourly rates:$58–$65 per hour, depending on operator level
- Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential for ongoing opportunities
- Work arrangement: Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO)
- Accommodation: Provided onsite
- Location: Mining operation in Central Queensland
- Local candidates preferred, particularly those based in Moranbah, Mackay and surrounding areas
Level 1 Plant Operators
Experience operating the following equipment:
- Bell 45E Moxy Dump Truck
- Dynapac CA362D Roller
- Isuzu Heavy Rigid Water Cart and Service Cart
Experience operating the following equipment:
- CAT 938K Loader
- CAT D6 Dozer – GPS
- Hitachi ZX360 36-tonne Excavator – GPS
- John Deere 672G Grader – GPS
About You
To be considered for these positions, you will ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience operating the relevant heavy mobile plant
- Experience working in civil construction, mining or roadworks environments
- The ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to commit to the 7/7 roster for the duration of the project
- Relevant licences, competencies and tickets for the equipment you operate
- The ability to meet site access and mine safety requirements
