About the Opportunity

Through Rio Tinto's partnership with Chandler Macleod, we are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for Greater Nammuldi.
Offered on a FIFO from Perth only basis, this opportunity offers the chance to work within a leading global organisation, contributing to key operational and business outcomes. Working a 5:2, 4:3 roster, you'll join a supportive team focused on safety, collaboration and delivering operational excellence.
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, you'll use your skills and experience to support business priorities, collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to the success of the operation. In this role, you will:
- Compile and analyse H&S data to support reporting, metrics and performance monitoring
- Manage H&S systems, records, documentation and compliance requirements
- Utilise Enablon and Microsoft Office applications to support reporting, data collation and administrative activities
- Coach and support leaders to improve the quality and effectiveness of safety interactions and field leadership activities
- Provide reliable systems, administrative and operational H&S support within a lean and collaborative team environment
About You
- Previous HSE Advisor experience preferred, or an operational background with a minimum of 2 years' HSE experience
- Mining, resources, construction or heavy industry experience highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) and a current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Strong proficiency using safety management systems, particularly Enablon, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience coaching and supporting leaders in field-based safety activities
- Ability to work autonomously, quickly build relationships and hit the ground running
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Dedication to everyone's safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and other testing
