Are you an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Electrician looking for your next FIFO opportunity with a leading mining contractor supporting multiple major iron ore operations across the Pilbara?
We are currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Electricians for ongoing assignments across a range of iron ore sites. These positions offer a family-friendly 8:6 / 7:7 days and nights roster, competitive rates, and long-term career opportunities with immediate starts available.
The Opportunity As a member of the Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of fixed plant assets within a high-performing mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative, breakdown, and corrective maintenance on fixed plant equipment
- Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues across processing infrastructure
- Maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, stackers, reclaimers, and associated plant equipment
- Execute maintenance activities in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
- Complete inspections, testing, and maintenance documentation
- Work collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance teams to maximise plant uptime
- WA Electrical Workers Licence
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated fixed plant maintenance experience within mining, resources, or heavy industry
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong commitment to safety and site compliance
- Iron ore processing plant experience
- PLC and industrial control systems experience
- HV Switching qualification
- Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications
- Instrumentation experience
- FIFO from Perth
- 8:6 / 7:7 day and night roster
