Reporting to the relevant Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from planning and procurement through to construction, completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of civil infrastructure and capital works projects
- Administer construction contracts including AS4000 and AS2124
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and expenditure
- Assess variations, progress claims and contractor performance
- Prepare reports, project documentation and procurement activities
- Monitor project risks, quality, safety and compliance outcomes
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
To be successful, you will possess:
- Experience managing civil infrastructure or capital works projects
- Strong contract administration experience within construction environments
- Knowledge of AS4000, AS2124 or similar contract frameworks
- Experience managing contractors, consultants and stakeholders
- Strong budgeting, reporting and project governance skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
- Local Government experience highly regarded
