Term: 6 months (TBC)
Reporting to: Head of People & Culture
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Continuous Improvement or Operations Lead to help improve how work gets done across a division of the organisation. This is a practical, delivery-focused role for someone who can identify improvement opportunities, bring people together, create structure where it's needed, and drive initiatives through to implementation.
The role will focus on improving operational effectiveness, aligning processes across teams, creating consistency in ways of working, and ensuring business initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. Working across multiple functions, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, with the Head of People & Culture acting as the key sponsor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate change, improvement and operational initiatives across the business.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and enhance ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement projects from concept through to implementation and adoption.
- Review, align and standardise processes to create consistency across teams and functions.
- Develop and document processes, procedures, workflows and SOPs.
- Leverage AI and technology tools to improve productivity, documentation and operational effectiveness.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder forums to drive outcomes and accountability.
- Establish project plans, timelines, actions and governance to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor progress, remove roadblocks and ensure initiatives achieve intended business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and support people through change.
You need to be someone with good energy, take initiative and who gets stuff done. You're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems, and don't wait for perfect information before getting started. Curious, practical and comfortable working things out rather than waiting for a perfect brief.
You'll bring:
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
- Experience leading business improvement, change or transformation initiatives.
- The ability to create structure, clarity and accountability in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
- Confidence facilitating meetings and driving outcomes.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong process improvement and documentation capability.
- An interest in AI, technology and innovative ways of working.
- Flexibility and adaptability when priorities shift.
- A continuous improvement mindset and desire to make things work better.
This is an opportunity for a practical improvement leader who can step into a business, assess what's working and what isn't, align processes, create structure, engage stakeholders, and drive meaningful change. You'll combine project delivery, operational improvement and change management capabilities to ensure initiatives are not only designed well, but successfully implemented and embedded.
