About the Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll run day-to-day site operations across a range of commercial projects. You’ll lead the on-site team, manage subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on program, on budget, and to a high quality standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and control daily site operations
- Manage subcontractors and provide technical guidance to site personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements and permits
- Liaise with architects, consultants and engineers to support project delivery
- Track project costs and keep works within budget
- Monitor progress and report to the Construction Manager
- Manage site resources, materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate daily field and manning reports
- Run pre-starts, toolbox meetings, inductions and safety briefings
- Resolve on-site issues and manage emergencies as they arise
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction
- Supervise Tilt-Up Work certification
- Demonstrated experience with Procore or similar systems
- Current First Aid certification
- Current C Class driver’s licence
- Ability to adjust and update programs in MS Project and Procore
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- EWP(Elevated Work Platform) licence
- Construction Management or Superintendent certification
