Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Communications Project Officer to provide high-level administrative and project support within a busy Communications & Customer Experience team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant, Project Administrator or Business Support professional looking to broaden their experience and contribute to a variety of meaningful projects. Reporting directly to the Communications & Customer Experience Section Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating projects, managing business documentation and assisting with reporting requirements across the section.
This temporary opportunity is available until February 2027, with both full-time and part-time applicants encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Communications & Customer Experience Section Manager and Section Coordinators.
- Manage diaries, business papers, reporting requirements and key administrative functions.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up action items.
- Coordinate projects across the section, maintaining project plans, systems and key documentation.
- Assist with the collection and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting data.
- Support section administration and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of team objectives.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Administration, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting senior leaders within a medium to large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating projects.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- A professional approach with a strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes.
What's on Offer?
- Temporary assignment through to February 2027.
- Earn up to $54.00 per hour inclusive of casual loading.
- Full-time hours of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Part-time arrangements considered for the right candidate.
- Based in Raymond Terrace.
