We are seeking a Workshop Administration Officer to support a busy depot/workshop environment. This role plays a key part in keeping day-to-day workshop operations running smoothly, with a mix of customer service, coordination and admin support across fleet/vehicle servicing and workshop records.
Duties
- Provide high-level customer service and administration support for workshop operations
- Source parts/resources required for servicing, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Support fleet/vehicle service and repair administration, including delivery/handover coordination
- Assist with registration renewals and scheduled vehicle servicing administration
- Maintain workshop databases, records and documentation (accurate and up to date)
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service, delivering outcomes on time
- Certificate in Administration, fleet management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a practical, customer-focused approach
- Confident computer skills (Microsoft Office and corporate systems) with efficient typing speed
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Current Class C driver licence (mandatory)
Desirable:
- Experience in spare parts ordering/processing and service administration (automotive or heavy plant)
- Experience in a structured environment with compliance and record-keeping requirements (e.g., government)
