About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Utility & Facilities Manager for a temporary short-term opportunity based in Kewdale, WA. This role will suit a practical, hands-on facilities professional who is confident managing service providers, contractors, site compliance, maintenance activities and minor capital works in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
Working Monday to Friday, you will oversee facilities management operations, support safe and compliant site activity, coordinate contractors and help ensure services are delivered efficiently with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship and performance of external facilities management service providers
  • Coordinate soft and hard facilities services, including cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste, maintenance and statutory requirements
  • Oversee contractor activity and ensure permit-to-work and site safety processes are followed
  • Support compliance with health, safety, environmental and site standards
  • Track maintenance, inspections, risks and corrective actions
  • Provide clear updates on facilities performance, budgets, risks and project progress
  • Manage minor capital works from scope development through to handover
  • Drive continuous improvement across facilities services, contractor management and site infrastructure

About You

  • Previous experience in facilities management, contractor management, construction, maintenance or project coordination
  • Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics or commercial environment
  • Strong understanding of contractor safety, permits, compliance and risk management
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong budget awareness, cost-control focus and reporting capability
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
