This is a unique opportunity to review and transform how a large and complex organisation engages with its community through social media. You will develop best-practice governance frameworks, improve channel performance, and create a future-focused operating model that drives greater consistency, collaboration and engagement.
Working closely with communications, digital transformation and senior leadership teams, you will play a key role in shaping future digital communications strategies and service delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a new organisation-wide Social Media Strategy.
  • Review existing social media channels, governance frameworks, processes and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse audience insights, engagement trends and channel performance to support data-driven decision making.
  • Develop recommendations relating to governance, operating models, approval processes and content planning.
  • Plan, schedule and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to improve collaboration, storytelling and content consistency.
  • Assess capability and resourcing requirements and recommend improvements to social media management practices.
  • Enhance reporting frameworks, content standards, author guidance and channel management processes.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
  • Expertise across social media platforms, audience behaviour, content trends and governance.
  • Experience using analytics and insights to improve engagement and performance.
  • Excellent written communication, reporting and presentation skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on content delivery.

If you're passionate about social media strategy, digital engagement and organisational transformation, we'd love to hear from you.
