Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter eager to make a difference? We’re seeking dedicated professionals to ensure our client’s plant runs smoothly through planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and machinery upgrades.

What You'll Do
- Conduct mechanical maintenance and respond swiftly to breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform machinery servicing, modifications, and installations
- Adhere to safety protocols, including LOTO and permit-to-work procedures
- Analyze root causes of equipment issues to improve reliability
- Collaborate with teams on fault finding, reporting, and handovers
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Recognized Australian mechanical trade qualification
- Proven experience as a Maintenance or Mechanical Fitter within manufacturing or production settings
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- High safety awareness and compliance with PPE and LOTO standards
Nice to Have
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Experience with automated production machinery
- Familiarity with CMMS or preventative maintenance systems
Education & Experience
- Trade qualification in mechanical fitting
- Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance roles
- Valid forklift license, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and Permit to Work certifications
