Join Our Dynamic Dispatch Team in the Poultry Industry!
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Dispatch Workers, with a forklift licence desirable, to join our client's dispatch team working in the poultry industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading industry operation, ensuring the smooth flow of stock through unpacking, packing, transporting stock, and some forklift operation.
You will be working in a fast-paced production environment, which requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. If you thrive in energetic settings and take pride in your work, this position is perfect for you.
We offer full training and PPE to all of our employees, as well as free parking and award rates. Our facility operates in a refrigerated environment, ensuring that all products meet the highest possible standards.
What You Will Need
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Current LF forklift licence (desirable)
- Previous forklift experience (preferred)
- Previous factory, warehouse, or food production experience highly regarded
- Own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- Working rights in Australia
- Availability to work day, afternoon and night shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to work safely and consistently in refrigerated environments
- Strong focus on safety and good knowledge of safe work practices and safety protocols
- Excellent physical fitness to sustain a repetitive, physical role
- Positive, energetic and hardworking attitude
- Comfortable handling raw poultry products responsibly and hygienically
- Additional certifications related to warehouse or safety practices
- Experience working in refrigerated or food production environments
- Prior experience operating forklifts in industrial settings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of relevant forklift, warehouse, or dispatch experience preferred
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated environments consistently
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols
- Flexibility to work across various shifts and overtime as needed
- Comfortable handling raw poultry products
