We are seeking an experienced Care Services Manager to join our team on a temporary contract of up to three months. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of aged care, home care and community care services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards while leading a dedicated team of 7x care professionals. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver and self-starter with strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to person-centred care, and the ability to step into the role and make an immediate impact.
Duties
- Lead and oversee the delivery of aged care, home care and community care services in line with legislative and compliance requirements.
- Manage and support a team of approximately seven staff, providing leadership, guidance and performance oversight.
- Ensure participant and client records, data and information are accurate, current and compliant.
- Develop and implement service management plans to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor client budgets, manage overspending and oversee the provision of services.
- Identify opportunities for service growth, client engagement and retention.
- Prepare management reports on service performance, outcomes and compliance requirements.
- Review training needs, identify skill gaps and support workforce development.
Skills and Experience
- Qualification in Health, Nursing, Social Services or a related field.
- Minimum five years' leadership experience within aged care, home care, community care or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and service delivery frameworks.
- Experience working within clinical and care governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive outcomes and resolve complex issues.
- Proven experience maintaining accurate records, reports and compliance documentation.
- Experience managing budgets, service delivery outcomes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
