A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Specialist to support a critical transition project. This is a hands-on contract role requiring a proactive procurement professional who can operate autonomously and manage end-to-end sourcing and contract activities in a fast-paced environment.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are immediately available or becoming available at short notice and can commit to the full 3-month engagement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities, including RFx processes and supplier selection.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and translate business requirements into commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, commercial analysis, and contract negotiations.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts.
  • Identify and manage commercial, supplier, and supply chain risks.
  • Support supplier onboarding, contract implementation, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, policy, and approval frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders across project, operational, and leadership teams.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, or subcontract administration.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and commercial management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract administration processes.

Desirable
Experience Experience in one or more of the following categories:
  • Corporate Services
  • Professional Services
  • Information Technology
  • Logistics
Defence or other highly regulated industry experience will be viewed favourably.
