About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient movement of customer orders through the warehouse. This hands-on role will involve picking, packing, loading, unloading and operating warehouse equipment within a heavy industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks safely and in line with site procedures
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and overhead cranes
- Support internal and external customers with a professional, service-focused approach
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety requirements and contribute to a positive safety culture
Roster
- Non-rotating shifts
- AFT Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- PM Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am
- Monday to Friday roster
- Weekend overtime available
Pay Rates
- AFT Shift: $45.18 – $47.92 per hour + overtime penalties, depending on experience
- PM Shift: $48.30 – $51.23 per hour + overtime penalties, depending on experience
What You Will Bring
- Full Australian Work Rights with no work restrictions or limitations
- Previous warehousing experience, ideally within a heavy industry environment
- A current high-risk forklift licence
- Confident forklift operating experiencE
- Overhead crane operating experience (highly advantageous)
- A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- A team-focused approach and willingness to support others
