We're partnering with a leading government infrastructure client to recruit an experienced Senior Designer (Civil) for a long-term contract within their transport infrastructure team.

This opportunity will suit a capable civil designer who enjoys delivering high-quality road and transport infrastructure designs while working closely with engineers, project teams and key stakeholders.

As a Senior Designer (Civil), you will play a key role in the planning, development and delivery of transport infrastructure projects from concept through to construction-ready design.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop civil designs for road and transport infrastructure projects
  • Produce design models, drawings and documentation using 12d and AutoCAD
  • Deliver construction-ready design packages in accordance with project requirements
  • Review consultant-produced designs and provide technical design input
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve quality, cost and delivery objectives

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years' experience using 12d and AutoCAD in a civil design environment
  • Experience delivering road, highway, intersection or transport infrastructure designs
  • Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (or recognised equivalent qualification)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and project teams
  • Current White Card and ability to work autonomously within a collaborative team environment
