You'll be trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and play an active role in helping clients achieve their commercial and financial objectives.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Partners, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients while supporting both compliance and advisory projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
- Managing annual compliance obligations across a range of entity structures
- Working directly with business owners and key client stakeholders
- Assisting with tax planning and strategic advisory engagements
- Supporting business structuring and asset protection initiatives
- Preparing management reports, forecasts and financial analysis
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to workflow management
We're looking for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with strong client relationship skills. Ideally you'll have:
- Several years' experience within Business Services and Taxation
- Strong public practice accounting experience
- CA or CPA qualification (or substantial progress towards completion)
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Experience using Xero and related accounting technologies
- A genuine interest in advisory work and career progression
- Direct access to Partners and senior decision-makers
