Location: Honeysuckle, Newcastle
Our client is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Project Administrator to join their team on a temporary contract. This role plays a key part in supporting land development projects and assisting customers, consultants and stakeholders throughout the development process.
About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader Project Delivery, you will provide administrative support across a range of project activities while maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, developers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer development projects through various approval, design, construction and handover stages.
- Support monthly reporting activities and maintain project data and records.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to update and maintain project information.
- Maintain registers of Accredited Designers and Constructors.
- Administer and maintain routine and complex works documentation systems.
- Provide support and advice to customers and consultants regarding development processes.
- Contribute to the efficient delivery of projects through quality administrative support.
About YouEssential Skills & Experience
- Experience within government, utilities, construction, infrastructure, development, or a related industry.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and performance targets.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of water and sewer infrastructure systems.
Desirable
- Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in development assessment or land development processes.
- Intermediate technical knowledge of water and sewer systems.
- Strong customer service, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
