About the Role Reporting to the Manager - People & Culture, you will be responsible for coordinating payroll processes, maintaining payroll systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements. You will also provide administrative support to the broader People & Culture team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll systems, records, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Assist with payroll-related enquiries and employee support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, payroll requirements, awards, and enterprise agreements.
- Support year-end payroll processes and statutory reporting.
- Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll policies and procedures.
- Previous payroll experience in a payroll or similar administrative environment.
- Experience using computerised payroll systems and databases.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial awards, and employee leave and pay entitlements.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
