We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join a collaborative People & Culture team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services, employee benefits administration, and payroll compliance while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong payroll processing, reconciliation, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce
  • Complex payroll calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations
  • Processing employee commencements, variations, and terminations
  • Managing superannuation, tax, workers compensation, and leave payments
  • Assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Providing payroll advice and support to employees and managers
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity
  • Supporting payroll improvement initiatives and system enhancements
About You
To be successful, you will have:
  • Proven end-to-end payroll experience
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, and taxation requirements
  • Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions from onboarding through to termination
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines
Desirable
  • Experience with Aurion or similar payroll/HRIS platforms
  • Experience working within a large, complex organisation
