Mobile Plant Operators
Opportunity with Rio Tinto | Port Hedland residents - no FIFO, home every night | Casual assignment

We are seeking  Mobile Plant Operators  to join our team on a  6-month backfill assignment, with the potential for extension based on operational requirements and client demand.

About the Role
The primary focus of this position will be operating  Triple Road Trains  within a busy mining environment. There are also opportunities for motivated and safety-conscious operators to expand their skillset through training on additional equipment, including  graders and other mobile plant.

Operators will also assist with fixed plant activities within the wash plant, including:
  • Clearing salt spillages
  • Conducting plant walk-arounds and inspections
  • Sampling and quality assurance activities
  • General operational support as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have previous experience operating  Mobile Plant  in a mining or heavy industry environment (desirable)
  • Hold a current full C Class Manual License (required)
  • Must be permanently residing with accomodation in Port Hedland area
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Be reliable, adaptable, and willing to assist across both mobile and fixed plant operations
  • Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes
