Learning & Development Specialist
  • Location:  Box Hill
  • Tenure:  3-4 months
  • Pay:  $500 daily + super
  • Working with:  Hybris
  • Work Schedule:  Full-time onsite for the first few weeks
Are you passionate about empowering others through education and skill development? We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join a leading higher educational institute.
In this role, you will design and deliver engaging training programs that enhance capabilities, foster growth, and support the development of a diverse and inclusive environment.

As a key team member, you will collaborate with various departments to identify learning needs, develop customized training materials, and implement programs that drive performance.
Your expertise will ensure all staff and students have access to the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, contributing to the overall excellence of the institution.

Required skills include:
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning programs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess training needs and tailor content accordingly
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and instructional design
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and digital training tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Nice to have skills:
  • Experience working in a diverse or multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training technologies
  • Certification in training or HR-related disciplines (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and learn new skills
Preferred education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Learning & Development or related roles
Other requirements:
  • Willingness to participate in occasional travel or off-hours training sessions
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and supporting diversity initiatives
  • Certification or accreditation related to diversity and inclusion is a plus
