Inventory & Data Project Coordinator

Newcastle | Temporary Contract | Immediate Start | Initial 3-Month Assignment

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced  Inventory & Data Project Coordinator  to support the Inventory team of a leading resources organisation in Newcastle.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced  Inventory Analyst, Senior Inventory Analyst or Inventory Coordinator  with strong SAP, inventory data and analytical capability to join a busy operational environment.

The focus is on finding the  right technical and analytical skill set rather than a specific job title.

About the Role

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will provide hands-on support across inventory analysis, SAP data, reporting, master data and stakeholder coordination.

You will be responsible for:

  • Extracting, validating and analysing inventory, consumption, purchasing and exception data from SAP
  • Maintaining regular  Power BI and Excel reporting
  • Monitoring inventory and MRP exceptions and driving actions through to closure
  • Supporting inventory reconciliations, data validation and cleansing
  • Coordinating actions across Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data
  • Investigating data discrepancies and supporting resolution
  • Providing ad hoc inventory analysis and reporting
  • Supporting general BAU inventory and materials management activities
About You

We are looking for someone who can combine  inventory knowledge with strong data and analytical skills.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on  SAP inventory or materials management experience
  • SAP  S/4HANA/MM  experience highly regarded
  • Experience in inventory planning, materials management, MRO or supply chain
  • Advanced  Excel  capability
  • Strong  Power BI  reporting and data analysis skills
  • Experience working with inventory, purchasing, consumption or MRP data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • The ability to work independently and follow actions through to completion
Industry Experience

Experience within  mining, resources, MRO, heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance or other asset-intensive environments  will be highly regarded.
