About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer to provide administrative support to the Safety Business Partner team to a large healthcare organisation. This role plays an important part in supporting occupational health and safety activities through effective data management, reporting, coordination of safety processes, and assistance with risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain occupational health and safety (OHS) records, databases, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for incident reporting processes, investigations, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with the completion and review of risk assessments and monitor the implementation of control measures.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Support the Safety & Wellbeing team with general administrative and coordination activities.
  • Ensure information is managed accurately and confidentially in accordance with organisational requirements.
About You 
  • A Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or Occupational Health & Safety), or be currently undertaking this qualification.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
