This is an opportunity to work with Rio Tinto on their Gove operations for a 3 month contract.
Flights and accomodation will be provided and the roster is flexible with options provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and influence leaders, contractors and frontline teams on critical risk management.
- Facilitate incident reviews and risk management workshops.
- Lead incident investigations using Essential Factors and/or TapRoot methodologies.
- Analyse safety trends and implement practical improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on risk management systems and assurance activities.
- Partner with contractors to ensure alignment with Rio Tinto safety standards.
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or similar.
- Experience in a Health & Safety role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of critical risk management and assurance frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading investigations and presenting outcomes to senior leaders.
