We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Grant Execution Officer to join a Federal Government team delivering a high-profile grants program.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong administration, grants, contracts, customer service, or stakeholder engagement experience who enjoy working in a structured environment and managing competing priorities.

About the Role:
As a Grant Execution Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end execution of grant agreements and variations. Working within established program guidelines and procedures, you will liaise directly with providers, prepare grant documentation, monitor agreement progress, and ensure accurate record keeping.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload while delivering quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue grant agreements, grant variations, and related documentation in accordance with program requirements.
  • Manage and progress work within a high-volume processing environment to meet deadlines and service standards.
  • Liaise with Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) providers via phone and email regarding grant agreements and variations.
  • Provide accurate advice and guidance on grant agreement requirements, processes, and obligations.
  • Monitor outstanding agreements and proactively follow up providers to support timely execution.
  • Coordinate grant agreement terminations, including associated documentation and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain accurate records to support compliance, quality assurance, and audit requirements.
  • Escalate issues, risks, and complex matters where required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when preparing and reviewing documentation.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
  • Experience monitoring workflows and following up actions to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to identify risks and seek guidance as required.
  • The ability to work effectively within established procedures and frameworks.

  • Grants administration.
  • Contract administration.
  • Government program delivery.
  • Regulatory or compliance environments.
  • Working within established policies, procedures, or guidelines.
