Frankston | Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)
6-Month Contract
$500 daily rate + super
An experienced Financial Accountant is required to join a high-performing finance team during a period of transformation and increased reporting activity.
Working closely with the Acting Financial Controller and broader finance team, you'll support statutory reporting, reconciliations, general ledger management, financial controls and compliance activities.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the team and provide support across a broad range of financial accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support statutory and financial reporting obligations.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and investigate variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes.
- Provide technical accounting support and advice.
- Support audit, compliance and reporting requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance financial controls.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role.
- Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.
- Proven experience with reconciliations, statutory reporting and general ledger management.
- Strong ERP systems experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Oracle Fusion experience.
- Exposure to fixed assets, taxation or large ERP implementations.
