About the Role:
If you're a Feed Mill Weighbridge Operator looking to grow your skills in a busy operational environment, this is a great opportunity. You'll be involved in:
- Operating the weighbridge system and accurately recording incoming and outgoing vehicle weights
- Issuing weighbridge dockets and maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Managing weighbridge administration, including data entry, filing, and document control
- Assisting with production and logistics administration, including inventory and stock movement records
- Coordinating vehicle movements, deliveries, and collections to support efficient site operations
- Preparing and maintaining reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation
- Communicating effectively with drivers, site supervisors, logistics teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting contractor sign-ins and the coordination of site visitors
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the weighbridge office
- Reporting discrepancies, stock variances, and weighbridge equipment issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with site procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and biosecurity protocols
- Providing general administrative and operational support to the Feed Mill team as required
About You
You're a motivated and reliable professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and customer service. To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a weighbridge, logistics, transport, administration, or similar operational role (highly regarded)
- Sound computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with drivers, contractors, and team members
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure
- A strong focus on customer service and providing timely support to operational teams
- A good understanding of workplace health, safety, and biosecurity requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
- A willingness to contribute to a positive team culture and support the broader Feed Mill operation where required
