We are seeking reliable, hardworking forklift operators to become vital members of our client’s dispatch team in a fast-paced poultry production environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading industry operation, ensuring the smooth flow of stock through unpacking, packing, and forklift transportation. What You Will Need:
- Current LF forklift license with previous forklift experience preferred
- Prior factory or warehouse experience highly regarded
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Availability to work afternoon, night shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in refrigerated environments
- Excellent physical fitness to handle repetitive, physical tasks
- Positive attitude with a hardworking, energetic approach
- Ability to handle raw poultry products responsibly and hygienically
- Working rights in Australia
- Additional certifications related to warehouse or safety practices
- Experience working in refrigerated or food production environments
- Knowledge of safe work practices and safety protocols
- Prior experience operating forklifts in industrial settings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of relevant forklift and warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated environments consistently
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols
- Comfortable handling raw poultry products
- Flexibility to work across various shifts and overtime as needed
