Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Requests Officer to join their customer services team on a full-time casual basis for an initial 12-month contract.

About the Role As the Customer Requests Officer, you will be responsible for managing customer-initiated requests from enquiry through to completion, ensuring a seamless customer experience while coordinating internal processes, project activities, and stakeholder communications.
Working within a collaborative team, you will provide advice and support to customers, manage enquiries, coordinate project documentation, track progress of customer requests, and ensure compliance with internal processes and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer requests and project enquiries from initial assessment through to completion.
- Provide timely and professional advice to customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare project documentation, estimates, agreements, and correspondence.
- Coordinate project activities and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor project status, customer commitments, and key timeframes.
- Process invoices, payments, and related administrative documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems and databases.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving service excellence.
- Actively work to resolve customer issues and minimise escalations.
- Previous experience in a high-volume customer service, administration, or project coordination environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with multiple systems and databases.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Experience working within utilities, infrastructure, technical services, engineering support, or a similar industry will be highly regarded.
