About the Role As a Content & Design Editor, you will support a major content review and improvement project focused on enhancing the accessibility, accuracy, consistency, and usability of operational and policy documentation.
Working closely with legal, policy, and business stakeholders, you will review, edit, format, publish, and maintain complex content across multiple platforms while ensuring alignment with organisational style standards and best-practice content design principles.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong document management skills, and the ability to confidently work with legal and policy content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, review, and update operational, policy, and legal documentation.
- Apply organisational style guides and content standards to ensure consistency across all publications.
- Improve content accessibility, usability, readability, and navigation.
- Review and manage links, references, document structures, and formatting requirements.
- Support content migration, publication, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with major document reviews, updates, and content refresh initiatives.
- Test and validate content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and quality standards are met.
- Maintain content across intranet, SharePoint, and other digital platforms.
- Work closely with legal, policy, and business stakeholders to ensure content remains current and fit for purpose.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements relating to content management and publishing.
- Significant experience in editing, content development, document management, legal publishing, or policy writing.
- Experience working with legal, regulatory, compliance, government, or policy-related documentation.
- Exceptional editing, proofreading, drafting, and document design skills.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex information and convert it into clear, user-friendly content.
- Experience managing content updates across digital platforms and publishing environments.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence engaging and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Background in law, legal services, public policy, compliance, regulation, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with style guides, publishing standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and content management systems.
- Experience improving content navigation, information architecture, and user experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale document review or remediation projects.
