Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for multiple Participant Support Officer opportunities across regional and metropolitan NSW. These are long-term labour hire positions offering stability, meaningful work, and the opportunity to provide frontline customer service support within a government environment.

As a Participant Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders, delivering high-quality service through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email correspondence. This is a customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage a variety of enquiries in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries or refer matters to the appropriate team
  • Manage participant and stakeholder interactions professionally and efficiently
  • Undertake administrative and operational support activities
  • Monitor and manage shared inboxes and customer requests
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-up activities
  • Assist with research, reporting, and project support tasks
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve service outcomes
  • Contribute to process improvements and continuous service delivery enhancements
Key Criteria To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in customer service, service delivery, administration, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive or challenging situations
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture
What's Required
  • Ability to attend the office full-time for the initial 12-week training and onboarding period
  • Capacity to work onsite in the nominated location
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required clearances or checks
