Based in Adelaide, this role will play a critical part in workforce planning, recruitment coordination, resource management, reporting and business operations. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide trusted advice and support to ensure the branch has the capability, capacity and governance frameworks required to deliver strategic outcomes in a complex and evolving environment.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating workforce planning, establishment management and resourcing activities
- Supporting recruitment processes, onboarding and workforce requests
- Monitoring workforce capacity, capability requirements and resource utilisation
- Preparing reports, executive briefs, submissions and governance documentation
- Tracking branch priorities, workloads and tasking activities
- Identifying workforce risks, dependencies and resource constraints
- Maintaining workforce data, staffing records and organisational structures
- Supporting budget, contractor and labour hire reporting activities
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of business management processes
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in workforce planning, resource management, business operations or program support
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and provide recommendations
- Experience preparing reports, briefs and executive-level documentation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
