Our client is a respected Australian manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and safety. Operating within a modern production environment, they specialise in the manufacture and assembly of heavy industrial products and are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join their growing team in the Greater Ballarat Region.

About the Role
This is a hands-on workshop-based role responsible for the fabrication, assembly and repair of steel and aluminium components. Working within an experienced production team, you will contribute to the manufacture of high-quality products while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification. The role offers variety across fabrication, welding, assembly and quality-focused manufacturing activities in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate, weld and assemble components and assemblies.
• Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Manufacture and repair steel and aluminium structures.
• Perform MIG welding and general fabrication activities.
• Cut, shape, roll and prepare metal materials.
• Assemble components through welding and fastening techniques.
• Operate workshop equipment, power tools and fabrication machinery.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

About You
• Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.
• Previous fabrication and welding experience within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience working with steel and/or aluminium.
• Relevant welding certifications highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
