AO5 - Document Controller

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Document Controller to support the successful delivery of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project. This integral role involves managing project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity throughout all project phases.

Position Details:
  • Job Title: AO5 - Document Controller
  • Dates:  21/09/2026 – 17/09/2027 (possible extension)
  • Location: Brisbane CBD
  • Pay Rate:$69.21 per hour + super
  • Onboarding: Hybris system activated after 3 months
  • Client Type: Government project

About the Role: As part of the Project document control team, you will be responsible for coordinating document control activities across the project. Your expertise will help facilitate complex review and approval processes, support project documentation workflows, and ensure compliance with standards such as TMR and Queensland State RecordKeep policies. You will develop and maintain workflows, support training sessions, and continuously seek improvements in document management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and update Document Control Management Plans and procedures
  • Support all document management users to ensure compliance, efficiency, and timely processing
  • Monitor and ensure secure storage, tracking, and timely response to project documents
  • Facilitate training on document control procedures and TeamBinder usage
  • Coordinate approval processes for program/package documentation
  • Develop and maintain workflows within the Document Management System
  • Manage transfer and administration of project data sources (InEight, TeamBinder, SharePoint, Content Manager)
  • Conduct quality checks on documentation submissions
  • Assist with project correspondence, reports, audits, and submission requests
  • Support TMR archiving requirements and compliance
  • Contribute to process improvements and team success
About You: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in major project environments, with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation in a fast-paced setting. You should possess strong governance skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. Familiarity with InEight Document/TeamBinder is mandatory, and knowledge of TMR policies is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience with InEight Document (TeamBinder)
  • Proven ability to work in large-scale project environments
  • Office-based in Brisbane City
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment and suggest process improvements
