Keep Community Spaces Clean, Safe & Welcoming
Our client is seeking reliable and motivated Amenities & Maintenance Cleaners to join their team in the Nelson Bay and surrounding areas.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can work independently across multiple locations. You'll help ensure public amenities and community facilities remain clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public amenities, picnic areas and community facilities
- Replenish consumables and remove litter
- Operate cleaning equipment and products safely
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and damage
- Complete basic documentation as required
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Previous cleaning, maintenance or groundskeeping experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive and customer-focused
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- Certificate in Commercial Cleaning (desirable)
- Immediate start available
- Up to $42.06 per hour
- Hours: 4:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Work across the Nelson Bay and surrounding areas
