Part-Time (20-25 Hours Per Week) | Work From Home | Flexible Working Days

Looking for a flexible role where no two days are the same?

We're seeking an experienced Accounts & Administration Coordinator to support a growing construction business. This is a varied, hands-on position that combines accounts, payroll, administration, compliance and business support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.
Working closely with the Director, you'll become the go-to person behind the scenes, helping keep the business organised, compliant and running smoothly.

About the Role Your responsibilities will include:
  • Accounts payable and supplier payments
  • Weekly payroll processing and superannuation administration
  • Bank reconciliations and financial record maintenance
  • Maintaining accounts within Xero
  • Subcontractor onboarding and compliance administration
  • Apprentice administration and training coordination
  • Managing business insurances, registrations and renewals
  • General administration and Director support
  • Coordinating SEEK advertisements and recruitment administration
  • Assisting with social media updates and business communications
  • Managing reminders, follow-ups and keeping business records organised
  • Supporting other areas of the business as required
About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a small business environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.

To be successful, you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in accounts and administration
  • Strong experience using Xero (essential)
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Experience with accounts payable and bank reconciliations
  • Confidence using Gmail and cloud-based systems
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience within a small or family-owned business will be highly regarded
  • Experience using ConnectStream or similar payment platforms is desirable
