About the role
As a Weighbridge Clerk, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient weighing of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Operate weighbridge equipment to accurately weigh trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Record and document weights and related information in systems or manual logs.
- Liaise with drivers and site personnel to ensure timely vehicle movements.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Report discrepancies and equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a weighbridge or similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
