Contract Warehouse / Operations Support – Vegetable Seeds Division (BASF Australia)
Location: Northgate, Brisbane (QLD)
Duration: Early July – mid-December 2026 (potential short extension)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role We are seeking a reliable and adaptable contractor to support our Vegetable Seeds division during a period of parental leave and internal system transition.
You will join a small, close-knit team of three, supporting day-to-day operations across warehouse and customer service functions. This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of autonomy after an initial training period.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and receive goods accurately and efficiently
  • Perform data entry and order management in M3 (Movex) system
  • Book couriers for customer deliveries and collections
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
  • Manage and organise stock within cold storage rooms
  • Conduct stock takes as required
  • Provide backup support to customer service when needed:
    • Taking customer orders
    • Entering orders into the system
Working Environment
  • Small team based in Northgate, Brisbane
  • National order handling for vegetable seeds
  • Combination of warehouse operations and administrative tasks
  • Structured training provided from early July, with full handover before September
Candidate Requirements
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
  • Proactive and capable of working autonomously
  • Strong reliability and commitment to complete the full contract duration ( critical requirement)
  • Valid forklift licence (essential)
  • Experience with Movex / M3 system (advantageous, not required)
Additional Notes
  • Strong overlap and training period available (July–September)
  • Role requires someone dependable—early exit would pose operational risk
